A1 Roofing did a very good job replacing our roof and we recommend them. The large crew was efficient and skilled at their work. We were impressed at how quickly the job was accomplished, just half a day, and at the attention to detail that was taken, especially on the metal work. The workers took the time to make sure the job was done right. Just a couple of disappointments. When the crew showed up around 7:30am, no one approached us to let us know what was happening. We never saw or heard from the job foreman. Also, there was a long delay until the final billing on the project, almost three months. We thought we were getting a free roof! When the bill did arrive, there was an unexpected charge that ultimately was fully explained and discounted, not quite to our complete satisfaction, but helpful none the less.

Expert Gutter Installation in Olathe, KS
Gutter installation in Shawnee means building a drainage system that can handle real Kansas weather. Shawnee receives around 40 inches of rain per year, with the heaviest rainfall hitting between April and September. That volume puts stress on any gutter system that is undersized, improperly sloped, or poorly fastened to the fascia board. At 1A Roofing, we start by measuring your roofline and assessing your roof pitch. We account for your home's drainage needs before any material is cut or mounted. Most Shawnee homes are single-family detached properties, many built between 1970 and the early 2000s, with ranch-style and split-level layouts that require precise downspout placement to move water away from the foundation. We mount hangers at the correct spacing to support water weight during heavy storms. We slope the run for consistent flow and test the full system before we leave. If your fascia shows rot or damage, we flag it before installation so water does not compromise the new system from day one. Call 1A Roofing to schedule your Shawnee gutter installation assessment.

Gutter Installation FAQ
Common questions about gutter installation in Olathe, KS.
Replacement is the right call when gutters are pulling away from the fascia, show multiple cracks, or overflow regularly during Shawnee storms. Spot repairs on a failing system rarely hold up through a full Kansas rain season.
We size the system based on your roof pitch, total square footage of roof surface, and the drainage patterns specific to your property. Shawnee's heavy spring rainfall means undersized gutters overflow quickly, so correct sizing matters from the start.
Yes. New gutters with correctly placed downspouts move water away from your foundation before it saturates the soil. Shawnee's clay-heavy ground does not absorb water quickly, so poor drainage can pool against your foundation fast.
We inspect the fascia before installation and flag any rot or soft wood we find. Mounting gutters to damaged fascia in Shawnee leads to early failure, so we address the issue before the new system goes up.
Yes. Ranch-style and split-level homes are common in Shawnee, and we install gutter systems on both older and newer construction. We measure each roofline individually to get the slope and downspout placement right.
Gutter guards are worth considering if mature trees overhang your roofline, which is common in established Shawnee neighborhoods. We can walk you through the options during your installation assessment so you can decide based on your specific property.
